Take an Italian Christmas course in Naples for an unforgettable ‘regalo di natale’ (Christmas present)! This historic city celebrates Christmas with colourful processions, delicious feasts and special Christmas markets. Discover Neapolitan traditions and a vibrant, festive atmosphere whilst you learn Italian in Naples!
Our school is in the ancient heart of Naples, close to the university. From the Italian school you can follow the winding streets to Via San Gregorio Armeno, where shops are full of beautifully handcrafted nativity figurines. Sample delicious local dishes such as ‘spaghetti con le vongole’ (spaghetti with clams) and ‘struffoli’ (deep-fried dough balls with honey).
Once the year draws to a close, you can celebrate New Year in Naples with the locals! Enjoy live music in Piazza Plebiscito, witness a spectacular firework display on Via Caracciolo, or simply toast the coming year with a glass or two of ‘spumante’ (sparkling wine) in a Neapolitan bar.

Our school arranges single room accommodation in a shared apartment for your stay. Get to know the other students on your Christmas course in Naples!
Activities
A full program of activities and excursions will introduce you to Naples, nearby places of interest and the city’s Christmas traditions. Enjoy a typical Christmas dinner with a Neapolitan family, browse the Christmas craft markets and indulge in Naples’ most famous export, pizza!
Guided tours are also included in the activities package. Admire the beautiful Church of San Giovanni a Carbonara, and take a trip up to the monastery of San Martino and the castle of Sant’Elmo, which overlook the city. You’ll also get the chance to see the remarkable ruined city of Pompeii, frozen in time after a catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
