Location
The French language school in Nice is located in a modern, well equipped building surrounded by its own gardens. With the beach and accommodation within easy walking distance, Nice is an excellent choice for a French language holiday for over 50s.
Course
There are 15 French lessons each week, 3 per morning Monday to Friday. Class sizes are small with a maximum class size of 8 students. Morning lessons are devoted to the same topics as the cultural activities offered in the afternoon. All teachers are fully qualified and experienced in the teaching of French as a foreign language.
Accommodation
For mature students wanting to completely immerse themselves in the French language and culture, the school arranges accommodation with carefully selected host families, all within walking distance of the school. For mature students requiring self catering accommodation, we can also arrange “French Host” or private studio accommodation.
Activities
The 2-week program includes 7 afternoon activities (visits to old town Nice, Picasso museum, Matisse museum, Eze village perfumery, Oceanographics museum, Provencale cooking lesson, wine tasting), 2 evening activities (dinner with teachers) and one full-day excursion (Monaco, Antibes).

Transfers
For students staying with French host families, an airport transfer on arrival is included in the price. Others should take a taxi (15-20 euros) or the airport shuttle bus (3-4 euros).
Suitability
This program is ideal for mature students wanting to study French culture and enjoy guided visits around Nice and the Cote d’Azur.
