The Autumn and Winter months are a perfect time to visit the beautiful city of Florence. The streets and museums are less crowded and the restaurants are more welcoming. Italian lessons take place at our centrally located school, just 5 minutes walk from the famous Ponte Vecchio.

There are 15 Italian lessons each week, 3 per day Monday to Friday. Class sizes are small with a maximum class size of 12 students. The course is not suitable for mature students with a beginner level in Italian. All teachers are fully qualified and experienced in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language.

Accommodation can be arranged in a Residence studio apartment, just 5 minutes walking distance from the school. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, kitchenette, telephone, internet access, air-conditioning and satellite TV. For mature students wishing to completely immerse themselves in the Italian language and culture, we also offer accommodation with carefully selected host families.

The Language and Art courses include a program of lectures (Michaelangelo, Lorenzo de’Medici), a walking tour of Renaissance monuments and visits to the Accademia Art gallery and Palazzo Vecchio.
The Language and Cookery courses include a program of lectures (Tuscan cookery, wines), a visit to the San Lorenzo food market, wine-tasting, farewell dinner in a restaurant and a full-day excursion to the Chianti region.

These language holidays are perfect for mature students who want to improve their ability to speak the beautiful Italian language and to learn about Italian history and culture.

Optional airport transfers from/to Florence or Pisa airport are available for an additional charge.
