The Italian language school in Rome is located in the city centre next to the central train station and within 15 minutes walk of the Coloseum. The school has its own garden, café and internet room. Its central location makes it the perfect base for an Italian language holiday for over 50s.
There are 20 Italian lessons each week, 4 per day Monday to Friday. Class sizes are small with a maximum class size of 10 students. All teachers are fully qualified and experienced in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language.
The school can arrange accommodation with carefully selected Italian host families, providing you with a single or twin room and home-made Italian cooking. For mature students requiring a higher standard of accommodation, we can provide host family accommodation with a private bathroom on request. If you prefer a self-catering option then accommodation can also be arranged with an Italian host or in a private studio apartment.
An extensive program of social and cultural activities is included, hosted by enthusiastic and friendly guides. A typical program includes wine tasting, cookery lesson followed by a meal, 2 guided trips around Rome, 2 seminars on the History of Italian Art, a visit to Villa Adriana and a full day excursion to Pompei and Naples. All excursions are made by private coach.
This Italian language holiday for over 50s is a very economical way of learning the Italian language, whilst experiencing the many sights of Rome on well organised excursions.
Optional airport transfers from/to Rome airport or train station are available for an additional charge.
