Accommodation
The most effective way to improve your language skills after class is to live with a local English-speaking family. Our school organises accommodation with friendly host families in Brighton, giving you the chance to get valuable English practice!
Alternatively, you could live with your fellow students, either in a shared apartment, or in our school’s student residence. The residence is located right in the middle of town, on the promenade, just a 15-minute walk from the school. Each double room has an en-suite bathroom, TV and telephone, with sea views available for a little extra. The residence has also its own restaurant and bar!
Shared apartments usually house between six and 10 people, offering both single and double rooms. You’ll share a bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen with your new housemates, no more than 20 minutes away from the school.
Activities
We want you to have as much fun as possible whilst you learn English in Brighton, so our school organises a packed activity program for your leisure time. A welcome party will immediately make you feel at home, with a farewell party also arranged, so you can say goodbye to your new friends at the end of your stay. In between, you’ll enjoy activities like city tours, museums trips, beach parties, sports and theatre evenings.
To show you some of England’s many charms, our school will also take you on excursions around the south of the country. Typical destinations include London, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Windsor Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and Stonehenge, to name just a few!
