Location
This French GCSE revision course takes place at our modern school in the lively town of Biarritz. The school has 15 well-equipped classrooms, study room and free internet access.
Course
Students receive 22 French lessons per week with lessons taking place in the morning, Monday to Friday. On the first day, all students take a level test and students are grouped according to their level of French. The course concentrates on raising the general level of French and specifically revising the French language skills students need to pass the French GCSE exam.
Accommodation
Students stay with carefully selected French host families providing a total immersion in the French language and culture. Accommodation is provided in a single room with half-board (2 meals per day) from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday after it finishes.

Activities
There are 2 sports or cultural activities included in the program (such as a French film evening, guided walk of Biarritz). Additional optional activities are available such as visits to castles, theatre trip, exhibitions, concerts etc.
Transfers
Airport transfers from/to Biarritz airport are included in the price.
Suitability
When students are not taking part in supervised activities, there is some “unsupervised” free time in the afternoon. Evenings can be spent with the French host family. We ask all parents to complete a parental consent form informing us if students are allowed to go out in the evening.
