Many students choose to learn French in Tours because it lies in one of the most beautiful and historic regions of France – the Loire Valley. Known as the Garden of France, the Loire Valley was long favoured by the French Kings, and it’s easy to see why! With countless chateaux, fine wines and great weather, it’s a favourite with our students too. The people of Tours speak French without a regional accent, so it’s an ideal choice if you really want to perfect your French. What’s more, with over 30,000 students in the city, Tours has a lively nightlife, centred round the medieval Place Plumereau. Whether you’re in Tours for a week or you’ve booked a longer course, don’t miss world famous chateau Chenonceau, France’s second most visited monument!
