Montreux
Our French language school in Montreux, Switzerland, offers you the chance to learn French on the shores of Lake Geneva, with stunning views of the Alps. Famous for its Jazz Festival, Christmas Market and its proximity to ski resorts, Montreux is an ideal place to learn French. Why not travel to the Portes du Soleil ski resort (just 30 minutes away) in the Alps after class, for skiing or snowboarding in winter, or for walks in the Summer. Lake Geneva also offers plenty of opportunity to sunbathe, swim, or practice watersports. Sampling some of the local cuisine is also a must while in Switzerland. Our school in Montreux is a superb place to learn French and to discover Switzerland.

Our French language school in Montreux, Switzerland, is in the center of Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva. The school has 7 classrooms, a cafeteria, shady terrace, balconies with views of the Alps and lake, as well as multi-media room with computers and free Internet access. Students at the school can learn French on a ‘Standard’ French course (20 lessons/week), an ‘Intensive’ French course (25 lessons/week) or else on a ‘Combined Course’. The Combined course combines a Standard French language course of 20 lessons and 8 private lessons per week. Students at the school can also take a French DELF exam preparation course. If you want to stay on in Switzerland after you’ve finished your French course, our school in Montreux can arrange Work Experience for you in local companies. |

Students can stay in shared student apartments, or with French speaking host families. The shared apartments all have magnificent views towards the Alps, over Lake Geneva, and are all located just 5 minutes’ walk from the school, the town centre and the lake. Like all our French language schools, our school in Montreux organises an activity program. This program includes sports, parties, skiing and snowboarding trips, plus excursions to Geneva, Lausanne and around the local area. There is a direct train from Geneva Airport to Montreux. Our school can also arrange an airport collection. Our school in Montreux also runs French courses for young students (14-18 years) from July-August, combining a French language course with sports, visits and activities. Our school in Leysin runs French courses for young students (13-18yrs) from April - October. In March + April, snowboarding/skiing is an optional extra activity in Leysin.
