Our school in Hamburg
Our German language school in Hamburg is located in a quiet pedestrianized street, lined with trees, right in the city centre. The school has over 20 classrooms, as well as a comfortable on-site student residence, located in the same building as the school. The area is full of shops, cafes and restaurants and is ideally located for exploring the rest of Hamburg.
Courses
You can learn German on a ‘Semi-Intensive’ German language course of just 10 lessons/week, or on an ‘Intensive’ German course of 25 lessons/week. The ‘Intensive’ course is the best choice, if you want to learn as much German as possible during your time in Hamburg.
Our Hamburg school also offers ‘Combined’ German courses, which are a combination of the ‘Intensive’ course, plus 5 private German lessons per week.
There is also a ‘German for Business’ course of 25 lessons/week.

Accommodation
Students can stay in the school’s own on-site residence, in either single or twin rooms. Each room has satellite TV and radio. There are bathrooms on each floor, but no kitchen facilities. This on-site student residence is a very popular choice for students who want reasonably priced but comfortable student accommodation, right in the centre of Hamburg.
Of course, our Hamburg school also offers accommodation in carefully selected German host families, with either self-catering (use of kitchen), bed and breakfast, or 2 meals/day. All the families live in good residential areas of Hamburg. Staying with a German host family is an excellent way to learn German, as well as come to a better understanding of German culture and the German way of life.

Our Hamburg school offers an extensive cultural program, including sightseeing tours around Hamburg, visits to local companies (Hamburg Brewery, TV and Radio stations), museum visits, full-day excursions to Lubeck, Bremen and Sylt, and much more!
How to get there
To get to Hamburg, fly to Hamburg Airport. Our school can arrange for you to be met at on arrival at the airport and taken to your accommodation, if you wish.

Class finished at 1 pm on 1st August and the weather was very nice. We decided (since it was the end of the week and legal in Germany) to buy a beer and sit in the town centre - overlooking the Binenalster.
