Enjoy a German course in Stuttgart, a wonderful contradiction of a city! Stretched out over verdant hills hosting Germany’s finest vineyards, Stuttgart is home to both the Mercedes and Porsche car companies. This dynamic city of colourful nightlife and designer shopping is also proud of its past, offering a profusion of museums and historic sites. In the scenic Schillerplatz, for instance, the impressive Old Castle hides a collection of royal jewels and artworks. There are many castles in the area around Stuttgart, with Hohenzollern and Lichtenstein castles particularly worthy of a visit.
Take a trip up the Fernsehturm (TV Tower) for magnificent panoramas of both the city and, gazing eastward, the River Neckar meandering through unspoilt forests. From late September to October, the banks of the Neckar welcome the Cannstatter Volkfest, the world’s second largest beer festival! No matter what time of year you learn German in Stuttgart though; you’re sure to have an unforgettable time!

Your German lessons will take place in the very heart of Stuttgart, just moments away from the central square (Schlossplatz) and park (Schlossgarten). Stuttgart’s main shopping street, Königstrasse, is also nearby, as well as numerous cafés, restaurants and art galleries. The school itself is a modern building, with bright, spacious classrooms and a computer room with free Internet access. After class, you can relax in the school’s café area, or get to know other students over a game of table football!
Courses
Our school offers a variety of different German courses, so you can learn in the way that best suits you! All courses are taught by native German speakers, with years of experience in teaching the language.
The most popular program is the Standard Course of 20 group German lessons per week, which leaves you with your afternoons free to explore Stuttgart! The Combined course, meanwhile, includes supplementary individual lessons during the afternoon. This allows you to clarify and reinforce what you’ve learnt during group classes.
If you’re busy during the day, our school’s Evening Course will be perfect! Lessons are held from 17:30 to 19:00 or from 19:15 to 20:45, on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
You may wish to take Private Lessons, which you allow you to decide upon both the timetable and content of your German course in Stuttgart! One-on-one tuition allows our school’s teachers to concentrate solely on improving your German, so you’re sure to make rapid progress. A mini-group program is also available (made up of two or three students per group), as a more economical alternative to Private Lessons.
For mature students, our school offers a German Club 50+ course, which allows you to learn German in Stuttgart with people of your own age! This two-week course includes an activity program designed exclusively for mature students, taking you to places like Ludwigsburg Palace, the Mercedes-Benz Museum and beautiful Heidelberg.

Accommodation
Live with a local host family to experience German hospitality and practice your language skills. Our school carefully selects host families, based upon their friendliness and the quality of their accommodation, which is always within easy reach of the school, via public transport. Choose a half board, bed & breakfast or room only arrangement.
If you’d prefer to live in the centre of Stuttgart, our school can organise a place for you in a shared residence. Sharing a kitchen, lounge and bathroom with your housemates, this is a great way to get to know people in Stuttgart! Full board residences are available upon request.

Activities
To help you enjoy yourself as much as possible, but also to give you valuable German practice, our school organises various activities for students. Typical activities include guided tours of Stuttgart, German language movie nights and trips around Stuttgart’s many bars!
