The lessons at the school were superb. The host family were lovely and very very welcoming. It was a superb way to build on the Italian experience and also learn more of the language.
This was an incredible experience. I was so impressed with the school and the staff were second to none. The extra activities offered were also well organised and of a high standard.
I thought that the course was demanding but still enjoyable and contained a good degree of conversation practice, which is what I needed.
The course was great, all in Italian, with very nice and patient teachers. My accommodation was perfect, in a great location and with super nice family, they were very helpful and accommodating.
The school has excellent, friendly and skilled teachers.
A great course, I learnt a lot but had some fun as well. The school staff were very friendly and helpful, they treated us as individuals which helped us to relax and enjoy the week.
My teacher was excellent, very helpful and keen to adapt the course to suit my requirements. The other teachers were also very friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere was great.
The teachers were so enthusiastic and tolerant of our efforts to speak Italian. The course was very well constructed so that you could practice an aspect of Italian in several ways so that it stayed interesting and fun.
All the teachers were lovely and the level of teaching was good. The accomodation was lovely and in a really great location centally within sorrento and very close to the school.
The teacher was a professional and experienced teacher. My accomodation was perfect. My host was a lovely lady with a nice apartment. She was a teacher before she retired, and puts a lot of effort in teaching her guests.

Our Sorrento school can arrange accommodation in shared self-catering student apartments, or else with carefully selected Italian host families. Host families are ideal for students who want to learn as much Italian as possible during their stay, as the families talk to students in Italian, giving you lots of extra practise with the Italian you learn on the course.

My time in Sorrento!
Ciao a Tutti!
My name is Paula and I am an American student who has been studying in Sorrento for the last 4 weeks . I was looking for a great study abroad experience and this is the perfect example! The school in Sorrento is a small school for students of all origins and age. I think that things like that are the best. I have taken Italian classes with other people from the Netherlands, Austria, and Russia!
Since I am here for the full semester, I have a concentrated Italian class with another student from America twice a week. In that class we learn grammar and verb tenses, things that will help us to communicate with the local Sorrentini. However my favorite class is definitely Italian conversation class, because that's where I can put to test what I have learned in class.
