Our school in Syracuse is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a stone-throw away from the famous archaeological park and archaeological museum.
It is situated within modern premises, and is comprised of 7 fully-equipped classrooms, a media centre and computer lab, an outdoor terrace with a café, Wi-Fi throughout the building and 24/7 student support.

Located on the Ionian coast of Sicily, Syracuse is home to some of Italy’s greatest archaeological treasures, and is even listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
Visit the Archaeological Park Neapolis or the Museo Archeologico Regionale Paolo Orsi, where you can browse an interesting array of artefacts which tell tales of ancient civilizations. Courses in Syracuse
Available courses
Take an Intensive course at our school in Syracuse and receive 20 Italian lessons each week. This course is a great option for those who wish to practise Italian in the mornings and spend the afternoons exploring the city and its surroundings.
If you would like a more Intensive language-learning experience, you can take a combined course, consisting of both group lessons (20 per week) and private lessons (5 per week). This option offers students the best of both worlds - the chance to learn Italian in the company of like-minded classmates and the opportunity to tailor part of your course to fit your individual needs.
For a completely personalised programme, you can choose to take a course of private lessons only. We usually offer 10 lessons per week, however if you would like more teaching hours than this then don’t hesitate to contact us. Private lessons are an ideal option for those who want full flexibility with their language-learning in terms of both structure and content.
In addition to our Intensive Italian courses, we also offer more specialised courses, including Italian + Cookery and Italian + Culture. Such courses will ensure that you have a fully-immersive experience during your time in Syracuse, and allow you to combine your passion for languages with your love for all things Italian!
Teaching is conducted in Italian, by experienced and fully-qualified professionals.

Available accommodation
Stay with a local host family for an authentic experience of life in Syracuse! Accommodation is offered in single rooms, with the choice between bed and breakfast or half-board (two meals per day).
For more independence during your stay in Syracuse, opt for a private apartment. Apartments are located in the city centre, just a short walk from the school itself. They include a bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom, a garden with a patio, washing facilities, parking facilities and Wi-Fi access.

Our partner school in Syracuse arrange an exciting array of activities and excursions that provide all students with the perfect opportunity to experience local culture and practice their Italian skills outside of the classroom. Activities vary depending upon the season, but may include:

Optional airport transfers upon arrival / departure can be arranged from / to Catania Airport or Comiso Airport. Please note that this service is not included in the price and will incur an additional fee.
