Learn Italian in Syracuse, Italy
Syracuse Syracuse, in Sicily, is the greatest classical Greek city outside Athens. Today, Syracuse is divided between the modern part, on the mainland, and the ancient island centre of Syracuse – known as Ortigia. Our Italian language school is located in the heart of Ortigia. All accommodation is in Ortigia, within walking distance of the school. Students at our school feel truly immersed in the history of Sicily, surrounded by buildings which date back centuries, with Greek Temples, Aragonese and Baroque houses, Arabian alleyways and beautiful squares. Syracuse is a beautiful location in which to learn Italian, as well as a wonderful base from which to explore the rest of Sicily.
