German and Winter-sports in Vienna

On a German course at our school in Vienna, Austria, you can combine your German language course in the magnificent Austrian capital with a day or weekend of skiing or snowboarding at one of Austria's world famous ski resorts!

German Courses

Standard German course (20 lessons/wk)

Intensive German course (30 lessons/wk)

Super Intensive German course (20 lessons/wk plus 10 private lessons/wk)

Each German course includes 5 “special interest” lessons in the course fees.

German and Skiing

Attend your German course from Monday to Friday in Vienna, and then head off for the ski slopes at the weekend. Skiing or snowboarding equipment can be hired on location. The "Hohe Wand-Wiese", just half an hour by public transport from the city centre, allows you the opportunity to easily arrange a day's skiing or snowboarding.

German and Ski Resort Work Placement

How about doing a period of Work Placement in a ski resort! After attending a 4-week German course at our school in Vienna can do a 4-12 week work placement in a hotel, travel agency or ski school. Work placements of 4-8 weeks are unpaid. Placements of more than 8 weeks may be paid (Christmas-March in ski resorts, other times of the year in Salzburg or Vienna).

Included in the course fees are 5 cultural lessons each week (talks and videos on Austrian art, music etc.), plus a guided tour of Vienna. Optional extras include excursions to Salzburg, Graz and Budapest.
