Learn Spanish in Santiago de Chile, Chile
Santiago de Chile Santiago de Chile is a modern, prosperous, city, enjoying a high standard of living compared with most South American cities. Ideally located half way between the Andes Mountains and the coast, Santiago de Chile is an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the country. Skiing is very popular during the winter months, with excellent ski slopes just a couple of hours’ drive away. Alternatively, there are excellent beaches just a similar distance to the west. To someone who has not been to Chile before, Santiago is a surprise, being much more modern, safe and developed than most people expect before their arrival – yet lying in the heart of a country with magnificent mountains, unspoilt beaches and virgin temperate rain forests. In many ways Santiago is a ‘gentle’ introduction to South America, a language study destination which would genuinely suit most people interested in learning Spanish abroad.
"When I arrived in Chile everything was totally new and I was so excited to be in this country. I was truly impressed by its landscape, the Andes with its snow on the peaks and also in Santiago de Chile Mount San Cristóbal with its statue of Virgin Mary..."

"I have to admit that Santiago was something else! Apart from the fact that the city was much more developed than I thought, I was pleasantly surprised to find cute streets, beautiful buildings, a rich culture, a very positive atmosphere and lots of vegetation..."
