Our school in Monteverde is in a breathtaking mountain location in the heart of the cloud forest, surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt rain forest, with many species of animal and plant unique to the area. The school is fully equipped with video room, cafeteria, Internet access, beautiful gardens and jacuzzi! You can learn Spanish on an Intensive Spanish language course of 20 lessons/week, on a Super-Intensive course of 27.5 lessons per week, or, if you want to learn as much Spanish as possible during your course in Monteverde, study on a One-to-one course of 20 or 27.5 private lessons/week. Our school in Monteverde also runs Combined Courses which are a combination of the Intensive Course and 5 or 10 private lessons/week. The maximum group size at our school in Monteverde is just 4 students per class, providing lots of personal attention to every student. Our school in Monteverde organizes Volunteer Work for students who want to stay on in Costa Rica after finishing their course at the school. Our Spanish language school in Monteverde arranges accommodation in self-catering studio apartments or in carefully selected Costa Rican host families. The studio apartments are log cabins, single or twins, located just a short walk from the school. |

Like our other schools in Costa Rica, our school in Monteverde also offers an extensive cultural program, with Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia dance classes, cookery classes, seminars on Costa Rican culture, history and society, Spanish film evenings, Latin music evenings, ‘sky walks’ in the rain forest canopy, visits to the Arenal volcano, natural hot springs and the San Luis waterfalls, night hikes and white water rafting. This program ensures that students enjoy their time in Monteverde, as well as helping them practice out of class the Spanish that they learn at our school. Our Spanish language school can arrange transfers by bus from San Jose (Costa Rica) to Monteverde, if you would like to be met on arrival and taken to Monteverde. We can also arrange overnight accommodation in San Jose. Please contact us for details. If you like, you can divide your Spanish course between our three schools in Costa Rica – Flamingo Beach, Monteverde Rain Forest, San Joaquin de Flores – paying for one course but dividing your stay between 3 locations.
