Thanks to its large student population, Guanajuato leaves you spoilt for choice once night falls. Whether you want salsa classes, an evening of culture at the theatre or Mariachi street musicians, this city has it all! Meet locals over a drink and have a chat in Spanish, or use your language skills to find yourself a bargain at the Mercado Hidalgo! Our Guanajuato school is positioned right in the middle of the city, so it’s easy to explore the plazas, museums and gardens of this enchanting place. The school itself has 15 comfortable classrooms, a multimedia lab with free Internet access and patio that’s perfect for post-lesson relaxation!
There are a wide variety of options when it comes to deciding how you want to learn Spanish in Guanajuato. Learn at your own pace! If you want to made rapid progress with your Spanish, yet still leave plenty of time free to discover Mexico, our school’s Intensive Course is ideal! It consists of 20 group classes and five Private Lessons every week, whilst the Super-intensive Course gives you 30 group classes and five Private Lessons per week.
For an even more personalised Spanish course in Guanajuato, our schools offers Premium Spanish courses, made up of 20 classes each week in mini-groups of just four students. If you like, you can combine these mini-group classes with five, 10 or 15 individual Spanish lessons per week. Spanish language programs consisting entirely of Private Lessons are available as well.
Our school also runs a range of specialist Spanish courses as well, including Spanish for Teachers, Spanish Conversation, Medical Spanish and DELE Exam Preparation courses. A great way to immerse yourself in the Spanish language and give something back to the community is Volunteer Work, which our school will happily organise for you. Or experience the spectacle of Christmas in Guanajuato with a two-week Christmas Course at our school. The whole city comes alive with celebrations at this special time of year!

Accommodation
Live with a friendly Mexican host family to get as much as Spanish practice as possible! Get a taste of Mexican home cooking too, with 3 meals (full board), 2 meals (half board) or just breakfast provided by your local family. All host families are carefully selected and checked by our school, ensuring a pleasant stay. Single or double rooms are available.
If you would like to prepare your own meals and socialise with your fellow students, our school’s shared student apartments are the best option for you! Get to know students from across the globe, sharing a fully-equipped kitchen and lounge (with TV). You can also choose between a single and double room if you live in a shared student apartment.
Activities program
Enjoy your time in Guanajuato and expand your Spanish vocabulary with our school’s varied activities program. There will be extra classes on Mexican culture, current affairs and Mexican music, as well as Spanish language cinema evenings. ‘Intercambios’ are also arranged, where you’ll meet local English language students, giving you both the chance to practice your chosen language! All of these activities are free of charge, but optional excursions are also organised by the school, allowing you to explore more of Mexico!
