Our school in Granada (Old Town)
Our Granada (Old Town) school could not be better located, lying in the ‘Albaicin’, the old Moorish heart of the city, with its beautiful white washed streets and spectacular views of the Alhambra, the old Arabic palace, towering over Granada. The school is in a beautiful historic building, with orange trees filling its shady gardens and ivy growing over the walls. The school has 8 well-equipped classrooms, a student cafeteria, outside patios and extensive private gardens for students to use at break time.
Courses
You can learn Spanish on a wide range of Spanish courses, including a Business Spanish Course and a DELE Exam Preparation course. You can also combine a Spanish course with skiing from December to April. The maximum class on every course is just or 6 students per class – smaller than at most schools.
Accommodation
You can stay in carefully selected Spanish host families, shared student apartments, or else in private studio apartments.
All accommodation is within walking distance of the school. Students who stay in Spanish speaking host families tend to learn faster, as they practice with their families the Spanish that they learn on the course.
Activities
The school organizes full-day weekend excursions to Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The school also organizes a range of activities and visits within Granada – all designed to help students use the Spanish that they learn on their course.
Free tapas in Granada!
I've just come back from 4 weeks studying in Granada and it's by far the most stunning Spanish city I've been to! I really loved every minute there. It's unlike anywhere else - You realize this from the minute you arrive, with the incredible Arabic palace "La Alhambra" towering over the city, and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains behind - You just know you've arrived somewhere special!
There is also the stunning Albaicin area, the old town, in which there are a series of old narrow streets with typical old buildings and Moroccan stalls and Moroccan tea houses....where you get a real feel for how Granada would have been right back in the time of the Arabs.
