Location
Qingdao’s golden beaches, enviable climate and vibrant atmosphere make it an ideal environment for young people. This historic university city played host to sailing events during the 2008 Olympic Games. The Chinese course for Young Students in Qingdao takes place at our school in the Laoshan district, close to magnificent beaches! Within the detached school building are an on-site residence, café, Internet room, listening lab, student lounge and very well equipped classrooms.
CourseYou can study Chinese in Qingdao for 2, 3 or 4 weeks of the summer, depending upon your preference. Each week consists of 20 Chinese lessons, so you’ll soon be speaking the language with confidence! If you like, you could even begin your Oriental adventure with an ‘Explore China’ travel tour, organised by the school. Spend a week discovering Southern China or Xian, where you can witness the famous Terracotta Army!

Accommodation
What could be safer and more convenient than living in the same building where your Chinese lessons take place? You’ll share a twin room in our school’s on-site residence with another student, so you’ll start making friends as soon as you arrive! 3 meals per day are included in the cost of this Chinese course for Young Students in Qingdao, some of which you’ll enjoy in the on-site café restaurant.
Level of supervisionWith teachers watching over all activities and staying in the on-site residence, students are supervised at all times, except for older students, who are given a little more independence.

ActivitiesThanks to our school's planned activities program, you'll always find something new and exciting to do! Regular activities include swimming on the beach, Chinese movie-nights, Tai-Chi classes, talent nights, martial arts demonstrations, traditional dinners, painting lessons and trips to waterparks, to name but a few! At the weekend, the school often treats students to full day trips, allowing you to appreciate more of the wonderful country around you. Enjoy a picnic on the incredible Laoshan mountain, go shopping in the Taidong district or experience a boat trip around Qingdao's spectacular coastline.
TransfersOne-way and two-way transfers from Qingdao Airport are included.
