The impressive city of Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany, located in western Germany, on the river Rhine. Home to much of Germany's tourism, Cologne has a certain flair and a neighbourhood atmosphere, which sets it apart from other German cities. Our Young Students will find a fascinating and liberal city, of proud and warm-hearted citizens who welcome visitors and students from all corners of the world. The city offers numerous excellent museums and galleries, hosts many international trade fairs as well as annual music festivals and carnivals.

The school is located in the centre of the city and has over 40 years of experience in teaching German to international students from all over the world. There are 7 modern and well-equipped classrooms. The school's teachers are all native German speakers with college degrees and teaching qualifications in German as a foreign language.

The language course offers a high level of personal attention in tailor-made classes for students of this age group. The school's fully qualified native German teachers are enthusiastic and helpful, offering daily support to all students in the school. All of the activities are fully supervised and there is a member of staff guiding all excursions and visits to places of interest in and around the city.

In addition to tuition, there are 4 cultural activities every week included in the course, as well as one weekend excursion. There are welcome activities every Monday with a get-together in the Volksgarten. The school also organises city tours of Cologne, and visits to places of interest, such as to the city's museums and to the world-famous cathedral, which took 632 years to build! There are sports sessions in climbing and swimming, as well as beach volleyball or football on Blackfoot beach, a resort located just outside the city centre, next to the Fuehlinger Lake. There are full-day excursions at the weekends to various cultural highlights in Cologne's beautiful surrounding countryside.
