- At least two afternoon activities per week. Visit the spectacular ‘Kurhaus’ (spa house), the castle and the theatre, amongst other places. Or take part in sporting activities like mini-golf, bowling and swimming
- If you take this German course for Young Students in Wiesbaden during the summer holidays, you’ll have an extra afternoon activity and one full-day excursion every week. Go on a boat trip along the Rhine, visit the bustling city of Frankfurt and explore a knight’s castle!

Location
From the hills overlooking Wiesbaden, the city appears to be a forest of green, punctuated by church steeples. The largest and most impressive of these churches is the Marktkirche (market church), situated next to the grand state parliament and city hall buildings in the centre of the city.
Our school in Wiesbaden is centrally located, close to the main train station. Nearby are shops, cinemas and the ‘Schlossplatz’ square, home to the beautiful Biebrich Palace. The modern school building has eight well-sized classrooms, a multi-media room with TV and computers, cafeteria and library. You can use any of the books, DVDs, CDs or tapes in the library, free of charge.
CourseThis German course for Young Students in Wiesbaden consists of 24 German lessons every week. Lessons include discussions and role-plays, encouraging you to use your German as much as possible. You can study for anything from one week to 48 weeks! The course is offered at a range of levels, so even beginners can study at our school. No matter what your current of level of German is, our experienced, native teachers will soon have you speaking the language with confidence! Your progress will be aided by the small class sizes at our school (10-12 students on average), as teachers can give you plenty of personal attention.

Accommodation
While you learn German in Wiesbaden, you will stay with a German host family, carefully selected by our school. The family will welcome you into their home and provide you with three meals a day. They will speak to you in German, helping you to pick up vocabulary and correct your mistakes. If you live with another of our students in a double room, they will speak a different mother tongue to you, ensuring that you get constant German practice! If you’d prefer your own space, our school will find you accommodation in a single room. All host family homes are within 45 minutes of the school, by public transport.
Level of supervisionWhilst there will always be somebody around to help you, whether in classes, on activities or with your host family, you won’t be under constant supervision and you’ll have a certain degree of freedom.

ActivitiesOur school’s organized activities package introduces you to the wonderful city of Wiesbaden, its culture and your classmates as well! Get to know other students during sporting competitions and games, trips to cities like Mainz and Cologne and a variety of other cultural activities.
TransfersIf you arrive in Wiesbaden by train, your host family will be waiting at the station, ready to take you to their home. Then once you’ve finished your German adventure, they will also take you back to the train station.
