Courses in Ibiza
Our Young Students' programme is available for 1 to 4 weeks and consists of 4 general Spanish lessons each day, from Monday to Friday. Each lesson is 45 minutes in duration and there is a maximum of just 12 students per class. Students need to have some basic Spanish knowledge prior to their arrival, ideally having completed a minimum of 1 year Spanish in school. The classes are lively and entertaining, specifically designed to cater for students aged 16 to 20 years old. The young and professional staff all have the main objective to encourage students to speak as much Spanish as possible, to gain confidence and to improve their language skills, whilst having lots fun at the same time!
Students who are 16 and 17 years old can stay with a Spanish host family in Ibiza, on a full-board basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know every-day life and culture in Ibiza and to practise your language skills with the local people! All of the host families are carefully selected by the accommodation staff at the school and have experience in housing young students from all over the world. The hosts are located within easy reach of the school. Please let us know of any dietary or medical requirements at the time of your booking.
Students who are 18 years old and above can also choose to stay with a host family, or otherwise in self-catering accommodation in shared student apartments (in single, double or triple rooms), or in quadruple rooms in the superb residence building.
The residence has a 24 hour reception and is located just 5 minutes' walk from the school. It consists of private apartments with en-suite bathroom facilities, for 4 students who are travelling together. There is air-conditioning and TV and students also have access to the pool and gym.
The shared student apartments, only for students aged 18 years and above, are ideal for those who are looking for total independence during their stay. There are 4-5 rooms in each apartment, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities and TV.
Bed linen and towels are provided in all types of accommodation, but students need to bring their own beach towels with them.
There is 24-hour supervision in the student residence building and students are always supervised during the school's activities, sports, visits and excursions. Students who are staying with a Spanish host family need to be back home by midnight at the latest during the week and by 01.00 at the weekends, provided they bring a parental consent form with them on the first day of their course.
There is an exciting programme of social activities, sports, cultural visits and excursions as part of the course. There are 5 activities included every 2 weeks, including a weekend excursion accompanied by school staff. Students have the chance to take part in an orientation and tour of the town on Mondays, with visits to the colourful and famous market in Ibiza on Wednesdays. There are organised museum visits, trips to a nearby water park, beach volleyball games, dinners out and excursions to some of the more remote island beaches. There are weekend island-hopping adventures as well as the extremely popular excursion to the incredible neighbouring island of Formentera.
This programme is ideal for teenagers aged 16-20 years who are looking to study Spanish in a popular beach-side location and have a truly great holiday at the same time.
