Mountains in Mendoza, Argentina

You’ll never be bored in Bordeaux!

One of my friends had spent a year in Bordeaux and she had told me what a lovely city it was so I expected to enjoy my time there – but I was surprised just how much I loved it! Lovely architecture, historic buildings, restaurant after restaurant and lively nightlife – what’s not to love!

During my trip I stayed in a studio apartment in one of the school’s ApartHotels and was pleased with the standard of the room and the facilities. I was a bit nervous about being able to find the school in Bordeaux as I have such a bad sense of direction, so I decided to take the bus the first day. However, I soon realised how easy it was to reach the school whether I walked or took the bus. The staff at the school were so friendly and helpful too. There’s also a comfortable student lounge where you can chill out on the sofa on your break and when the sun is shining you can make the most of the school’s garden.

Living La Vida Loca in Malaga

I have been in Malaga for 3 months now…and I only booked two weeks to begin with – now I don’t feel like I can leave!

Malaga is seriously different to all the other cities I’ve visited because it is just so Spanish and Andulcian!

So much has happened! The best being I got a job working in a bar right on the beach and it is so gorgeous. The people are so friendly at work. I always have to talk Spanish because no one talks English, but they teach me loads of new stuff including some funny chat up lines. lol.

Apart from that I have had some new housemates who are all lovely and everyone is always so amazed by our great school apartment with the spectacular view! I still feel lucky eating my brekki everyday on the terrace.

Explore Bavarian life in Munich

What comes first into your mind when thinking about Germany? Good beer, sauerkraut, veal sausages and pretzels, dancing the Schuhplattler, traditional bavarian costumes… Of course that doesn’t apply for all of Germany but if you want to experience this culture and lifestyle then Munich is the best place for you! Furthermore, Munich is the most beautiful city in Germany I’ve ever been to.

The best time to go to Munich is spring or summer. Then you can go to the English Garden and enjoy a cold beer or other refreshments in the beer garden near the China Tower or lie down on one of the huge green spaces on the waterfront of the Isar. It’s a really good place to picnic and to relax.
