Time stands still in Cuba!

I absolutely loved my stay in Cuba and I came back home a passionate enthusiast about the Cuban way of life and culture!

I just couldn’t believe how friendly the people were! Please do contact us if you are considering a Spanish course in Cuba and have any questions about this wonderful location. I visited our school in Havana, and our team would also be happy to discuss our other Cuban courses in Trinidad and Santiago.

In Havana, you can choose between host family or hotel accommodation. In Trinidad, Havana and Santiago de Cuba, you can either just learn Spanish, or do a Spanish and Salsa course – which really is great fun, whether or not you’ve ever done Salsa before!

Cuba is an amazing country that has developed its own unique culture and way of life since its political exile in the 1950s. In some ways, time appears to have stood still, with amazingly well preserved 1950s American cars around nearly every corner, and no sign of the international fast food restaurants and brands that we all recognise. However, in other ways, the music and vibrant cafe culture that is so unique to Cuba bring the country very much into the 21st century.

Everywhere you go in Havana, you can hear music, conversation and laughter, and everyone in Cuba always seems to have a smile on their face! Study in Cuba and you will experience a truly unique and unforgettable Spanish course!

    Dear apple languages,
I was wondering if you get the chance to explore Cuba in your own time with the other students from the course e.g going out in the evening and exploring Havana, as this would be really important to me. Would I get enough free time to be able to explore Cuba?

    Many thanks,
    Lexie

      Dear Lexie,

Thank you for your comment. Yes you would definitely have lots of time to explore Havana, Cuba in your own time. The school can also help you explore on your own and recommend things for you to do in your free time. There are regular excursions to one of the museums or even the tobacco factories. For sports lovers: horse riding, scuba diving, tennis and football are all possible. You can also take part in day trips to Santa Maria Beach or Playas del Este. A good place to start would be Habana Centro!

      I hope that helps!

      All the best,

      Apple Language Courses
