15 of my favourite Amsterdam food and drink places!
Hello everyone, Maria here! Amsterdam is my favourite city in Europe. Six years ago, my mother and I established a new tradition of spending a few days in Amsterdam together, once or twice a year. It is our kind of mother-daughter ritual and she has different ones for each of my sisters as well. That way, each of us girls can spend a weekend getaway with our mum alone.
I now know a few interesting places that Amsterdammers swear by.
Here is my list of my 15 favourite places for food, drinks & books in Amsterdam, The Netherlands!
1. The Cold Pressed Juicery
Fresh healthy juices. Their ‘Glow’ juice is delicious.
2. Gebroeders Niemeijer
French bakery which I, as a critical French native, approve of. Brioche for the win!

Amsterdam is really worth a visit, it is a truly beautiful city! The locals are great and very friendly too. I hope this will inspire you to visit the city soon.
You can study Dutch in Amsterdam by taking a language course with Apple Languages! Our programme in Amsterdam is a little different to most as you choose how many Dutch private lessons you’d like and these take place in the teachers’ homes.
