Yesterday was Dia de Andalusia&#8230; and let me say that it was a great day, spent with lots of friends at the beach. But let me say something else and get it over with&#8230; I LOVE this place. Absolutely love it. Sorry mom and dad&#8230; I am never coming home!<\/p>\n<p>We started the day off with a nice American breakfast. Dillon&#8217;s parents have been so kind to bring us some pancake mix&#8230; and Vermont&#8217;s Best Maple Syrup. It was nice to sleep in, and awake to the aromas of an already cooked and delicious breakfast. Now that I think about it&#8230; Malaga could really use a Pancake house. It might be one of the only things it is missing. If only I could finance that&#8230;!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"pic-box size-full wp-image-946 alignleft\"  title=\"Malaga\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.applelanguages.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/malaga2_102.jpg\" width=\"147\" height=\"207\" \/>After this wonderful breakfast we decided to head on down to the beach to hang out with about 20 students from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.applelanguages.com\/en\/learn\/spanish\/spain\/malaga2.php\">the school<\/a>. We sat around and enjoyed the sun, played paddle ball, ate Paella at one of the many great restaurants near the beach for lunch. Oh&#8230; and yes had a couple of beers on the beach&#8230; but don&#8217;t tell my parents. They would be upset that I wasn&#8217;t drinking Spanish wine for culture&#8230; haha!<\/p>\n<p>All in all it was a great day; But things don&#8217;t end here at 6 o&#8217;clock. After the beach, a few of us went to my place (which is on top of this large hill with a great view of the sea ) to hang out for a while before hitting up the night life. I wont describe this much here&#8230; but we went to the center to grab a bite to eat (TAPAS anyone!!!) and then decided to hit up one of the many bars in the city. Lets just say I got home around 4. Night life starts late here&#8230; and ends early. So, if you want to join us, get ready!<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it was a spectacular day. To think that in a couple of weeks Semana Santa will begin&#8230; wonder what that will be like.
