\"\"Most students over 50 years of age are happy to join our normal language courses worldwide, at any of our schools, as the programmes are intended for adults of all ages. Indeed, at most of our schools, a significant number of the students are often in their forties, fifties and over. This is especially true for locations that are more preferred by older students, including Aix en Provence in France and Sorrento in Italy.<\/p>\n

Some students aged 50 and above prefer to have their language classes and activities exclusively with students of a similar age. It is for these students that we offer our Club 50+ courses<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Suitability of our Club 50+ courses<\/h3>\n

All our Club 50 courses are designed for students aged 50 years old and above. These courses are available at various levels, attract students from all over the world, and have specific start dates (listed below).<\/p>\n

Typically, the Club 50 courses include morning language classes, followed by afternoon and evening activities, as well as excursions. Three example activity schedules are provided below, though the actual programme may vary.<\/p>\n

As with our general language courses, the teaching method is practical and communicative, emphasising language use in practical real-life situations rather than just theoretical study.<\/p>\n

Accommodation for older students<\/h3>\n

Students enrolled in Club 50 courses have the option to stay with local host families for full language immersion or in comfortable studio apartments. “Executive” host families, which offer private bathrooms and are located near the school, are sometimes available. Some schools also provide high-standard residences, featuring en-suite rooms and on-site swimming pools.
