My trip to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.applelanguages.com\/en\/learn\/chinese\/china\/shanghai.php\">Shanghai<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.applelanguages.com\/en\/learn\/chinese\/china\/beijing.php\">Beijing<\/a> was absolutely amazing. I loved the combination of ancient history and ultra-modern technology and architecture. I can honestly say that the reality of life in China far surpassed my expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Travelling as a complete beginner in Chinese I was slightly concerned about what to expect when I arrived in China, but there was no need to worry! I was met at the airport by the school\u2019s transfer driver Mr Wu who took me directly to my accommodation and after a long flight it was well worth booking this service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The school teach the basic language skills you need to survive on a daily basis from the first day of the course and before you know it, you will be giving directions to a taxi driver and ordering your meals in Chinese!<\/p>\n<p>In addition to language lessons the schools arrange some great activities and I was able to join in with Chinese calligraphy lessons, a visit to the Great Wall, dumpling making, meals out with staff from the school and much, much more!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/album.php?id=195571470477446&amp;aid=49827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">You can see photos from my trip on Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about studying in China, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.applelanguages.com\/en\/about\/meet-the-team.php\">contact me<\/a>.
