\"\"We are often asked by students about our recommendations for accommodation and I can honestly say that if want to make as much progress learning a new language as possible, staying with a host family is the best option!<\/p>\n

The schools we work with visit each of the host families individually, to ensure that accommodation they offer is suitable for our students and that the family themselves are friendly and welcoming.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I have stayed in host family accommodation myself on a number of occasions in countries across the world. Although each host family I’ve stayed with has been quite different from the last (from a single lady, to a retired couple and families with children), I have always thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying with a host family.<\/p>\n

Host family accommodation may not appeal to everyone, but I think it is definitely an experiencing worth trying at least once! What better way can there be to meet local people, practice your language skills and get insider tips on places to visit. Best of all, by staying in host family accommodation, I’ve met some great people that I’m still in contact with!<\/p>\n
