\"\"What comes first into your mind when thinking about Germany? Good beer, sauerkraut, veal sausages and\u00a0pretzels, dancing the Schuhplattler, traditional bavarian costumes… Of course that doesn’t apply for all of Germany but if you want to experience\u00a0this\u00a0culture and lifestyle then\u00a0Munich is the\u00a0best place for you! Furthermore, Munich is the most beautiful city in Germany I’ve ever been to.<\/p>\n

The best time to go to Munich is spring\u00a0or summer. Then you can go to the English Garden<\/a> and enjoy a cold beer or other refreshments in the beer garden near the China Tower or lie down on one of the huge green spaces on the waterfront of the Isar. It’s\u00a0a really good place to picnic and to relax.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Perfect places\u00a0to taste traditional German dishes and drinks\u00a0are the Hofbr\u00e4uhaus where you can sit in a very friendly atmosphere or the\u00a0most\u00a0famous German festival, the Oktoberfest, which takes place in late September and early October attracting millions of tourists each year. There you can have a lot of fun in one of the beer tents or on the funfares around. In both places you can listen to typical brass band music.<\/p>\n

If this is too much German tradition you can also find a lot of nice international restaurants and caf\u00e9s in the city and around the Marienplatz, the heart of Munich. The Marienplatz is very famous for its Glockenspiel. Between Marienplatz and the Stachus there is a large pedestrian precinct to go shopping and only a stone’s throw away from Marienplatz there is the Viktualienmarkt where you can chose from a great variety of\u00a0common and gourmet food.<\/p>\n

I think the Deutsches Museum is one of the best\u00a0museums offering attractions for people of all ages. And if you are interested in football don’t\u00a0forget to go to the Allianz Arena. You can book a guided tour through this huge and phenomenal football stadium.\u00a0But as\u00a0there is a lot more to see and explore in Munich I would like to suggest a guided bus tour. That’s always a good idea to get a first overview. Then you can decide what places of interest you would like to visit.<\/p>\n

If you\u00a0attend a language course at the school in Munich<\/a> I’m sure you will not only enjoy your stay but also love the\u00a0Bavarian culture and lifestyle.<\/p>\n
