Location
Enjoy a French course in the incredible Swiss Alps! Scenic Leysin, located just 40 minutes away from Lake Geneva, is famous for its sporting culture, offering everything from horse riding to ice skating. This French course for Young Students in Leysin runs during the summer months, when the town is almost permanently bathed in sunshine.
Two former hotels, within easy reach of the town centre, are home to our French language school. As well as spacious classrooms, facilities include a computer room, free wireless Internet access, a library, auditorium, games room, sports hall, gym, cable TV and various student lounges. Students will also have access to two restaurants, two cafeterias, two coffee shops and a terrace with amazing views of Leysin!
CourseThe course includes 20 French lessons every week, so you’re sure to rapidly improve your language skills! For an additional fee, you can supplement these morning lessons with four extra conversation classes per week (available for students who have been learning French for at least two years). Courses run for as little as one week and for as long as seven weeks. However long you stay for, you’ll make lots of new friends in Switzerland!
Accommodation
Based in former hotel accommodation, our school offers students rooms of a high standard, all with en-suite bathrooms. For additional comfort, you can even opt for a double or deluxe room, available at an extra cost.
This French course for Young Students in Leysin includes breakfast, lunch and dinner each weekday, as well as brunch and dinner at the weekends. All meals are served in one of the on-site cafeterias, on an all-you-can-eat basis. ‘Theme nights’ and barbecues are arranged every now and again, adding to the wide variety of dishes available!

ActivitiesOur school arranges an amazing range of after-class and weekend activities. From basketball to windsurfing, tennis to go-karting, you can enjoy any number of sports. Social and cultural activities, such as art classes, film evenings, nature walks and school discos are also organised by the school. A great many activities are free of charge, whilst some cost extra.
Each week, you’ll be invited to take two half day trips to local points of interest, as well as a full day excursion to exciting locations further afield. Regular destinations include the beautiful Château de Chillon, medieval Lausanne, vibrant Geneva, a glacier and Fun Planet amusement park. You’ll have a great summer if you learn French in Leysin with us!
TransfersTransfers from Geneva Airport are available with our school. Please be aware, however, that this collection service carries an additional cost.
