Location
In Montreal, Canada, you will learn the language in the world’s largest bilingual city, a location famous for its culture, excellent shopping and magnificent surroundings. Both the French and English language are spoken in Montreal, making Montreal an ideal location for a French language course.
CourseThere are 3 hours of French lessons each morning, Monday-Friday, followed by lunch at the school.
Accommodation
Students are accommodated with a French-speaking host family. Public transport fees between accommodation and the school are included.
Level of supervisionOn all activities, students are accompanied and supervised. Students are allowed some free time and are allowed to go out unaccompanied as long as we have received parental consent.
ActivitiesSupervised afternoon activities, Monday-Friday, such as a guided walk around central Montreal, bowling, rock-climbing, jet boating, canoeing, nature walks, visit to Major League baseball game, visit to St Leonard caves, to the Planetarium, picnics, mini-golf, cycling. On all activities, students are accompanied and supervised. All equipment is provided. At the end of each program of afternoon activities, students have at least 1-2 hours free to use the Internet, be with their friends or explore the city, before returning home to their host families. Some optional extra activities are also offered by the school in the evenings and at the weekend, not included in the course fees.
Transfers2-way airport transfers from/to Montreal Airport are included in the program.
SuitabilityMontreal provides an interesting and exciting alternative to French courses in France. Students of all ages and nationalities attend the Summer program, all aged 13-17 years.
