Location
Can’t decide between a beach and a city location for your French summer camp this year? Then take a look at our French summer camp in Nice for young students (13-17 years)! Our minicampus is in a fantastic location, just 10 minutes’ walk from the beach, and a short bus ride from Nice city centre. What’s more, there’s a free shuttle bus from our school to central Nice, so you’ll find it easy to get around during your course.
CourseYou’ll find the atmosphere on campus is both friendly and international, so you’ll soon feel at home! There are 20 French lessons/week (max 15 students/class), which take place in the mornings. Our campus has 10 indoor classrooms, plus 2 outdoor classrooms, so you can make the most of the excellent summer weather in Nice. After morning classes, you’ll join fellow students in a range of afternoon and evening activities, including beach volley, museum visits, hip-hop classes and even an introduction to martial arts!
What’s more, there’s also 2 excursions/week (one half day and one full day) to locations around Nice, such as the Lerins Islands, Monaco, St Tropez, Grasse and Antibes

Accommodation
You can choose to stay with one of our carefully selected host families, or in a single room on our on-site residence. If you’re staying with a host family, you’ll have breakfast and your evening meal with your hosts - an excellent opportunity to practise your French! Monday to Friday, you’ll have lunch at our school with your fellow students, and on Saturdays you’ll be given a packed lunch to take with you on an excursion.
Students staying in our on-site residence stay in comfortable single rooms with a wash basin and shower. You’ll have 3 meals/day at the school canteen, and full access to the campus facilities which include table tennis, table football, TV room and basket and volleyball courts.
Level of supervisionStudents are permitted to go out unaccompanied in the afternoon provided that they have written parental permission. Students under 16 years are not allowed to go out at night unaccompanied. There is 24 hour supervision for students staying on campus.

ActivitiesActivities are arranged every afternoon and evening. Activities include visits to museums (Modern Art, Chagall, Matisse), football, basketball, beach volley, theatre workshop, hip hop workshop and introduction to martial arts. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in optional activities at extra cost. These include a private disco, cinema, bowling and diving.
The area around Nice is regarded as one of the most beautiful in France, and our school’s half day and full day excursions help make your course an unforgettable experience. Half day excursions include a visit to the perfume factory in Grasse and a trip to the world famous Sea World Museum in Monaco. Full day excursions include a trip to the beautiful Lerins Islands and the chic seaside resort of St Tropez.
TransfersA two-way transfer on arrival and departure from/to Nice Airport or Nice Train Station is included for students arriving and departing on a Sunday and departing on a Saturday. You will be met on arrival by a member of our school’s team or a member of your host family.
