Our school in Moscow
Our Moscow school has a central location close to the Belorusskaya Railway Station. The school building has 11 well equipped classrooms, many of which are equipped with iPads, TV and DVD facilities. Wireless Internet access and a student lounge are also available for students to use. After class there are lots of cafes close to the school where students will often meet for a coffee or reasonably priced lunch!

Moscow
Learn Russian at our language school in Moscow, the political, economic and cultural centre of Russia! Moscow is a real 24-hour city and Muscovites live life at a fast pace, making this an exciting city to live in and a great place to experience modern day Russia. History buffs will be fascinated by Russia's turbulent history and no trip is complete without wandering around Red Square, home to Saint Basil's Cathedral with its brightly coloured onion domes and the Kremlin, the residence of the Russian president. Dive into the arts at one of Moscow's many art galleries, theatres and concert halls, at the ballet or even the circus! Moscow is also one of Europe's greenest cities and in the spring and summer comes alive with street cafes, bike paths and beautiful parks.
Our school in Moscow offers Russian language courses throughout the year, with each lesson taught by a fully qualified, native Russian speaking tutor.
Most visitors to Moscow need a visa to enter Russia, but don't worry, this is easy to apply for and we provide our students with the invitation letter required by the Russian consulate! If you are not sure which type of visa will be most suitable for you, check out our blog post on the subject.
Courses in Moscow
Available courses
The school offers a variety of Russian language courses, which are suitable for students of all levels, although beginners are advised to familiarise themselves with the Cyrillic alphabet before they arrive!
Most students take the Intensive course of 20 lessons each week, but you can choose to combine your language studies with lessons focusing on Russian culture, language for business, or even music. If you want to learn as much Russian as possible during your stay, or work on a specific area of the language, you can also take a course of private lessons, either taken alone, or in addition to a group course.
During the low season, between September and the following May, students are also able to take part in the Semi-Intensive afternoon programme in Moscow. These Russian lessons are offered between 15:00 and 17:50 Monday to Friday, with a maximum class size of just four students.
Course materials are included in the course fees and will be provided by the school.
Accommodation
Available accommodation
Students studying our Moscow school can stay with one of our friendly host families who will speak to you in Russian and give you a warm welcome! Host family accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast, or half board (2 meals) basis.
If you would prefer to live with other students, our shared apartments are the ideal solution! The shared apartments are usually shared by 3-4 students and are fully furnished with wireless Internet access, TV, a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Each student has their own bedroom, but the kitchen and bathroom are shared.
Activities
Our school in Moscow offers regular activities, giving students the opportunity to discover Moscow and meet other people. The programme varies depending on the time of year, with typical activities including Russian film screenings, theatre and concert trips, boat trips, museum visits and guided walks! Please note that, as with all schools, there may be a small additional charge for optional activities.
The school are also happy to help students book tickets for cultural events taking place in Moscow, from the ballet to open-air concerts.
How to get there
Moscow is well served by international airlines, making transportation to the city easy! A 1-way airport transfer is included free-of-charge on arrival into Moscow, for all students who book accommodation. A transfer on departure can be arranged on departure for an additional fee if required.

I had 4 individual lessons per day. I had three different teachers during the week. They were all different and all good in their own way.
My hostess was good: she talked to me a lot (the most important thing for me) and even organised tickets for the Bolshoi !

The school is very modern with contemporary surroundings and free online facilities. The school is situated in a gated compound and very close to the Belarus Train/Metro station. Teaching standards were very high with experienced and qualified staff teaching students from around the world; the courses were stimulating and tailored to your linguistic level, the use of all mediums helped you appreciate the complexities of the Russian language, with each 50 minute lesson being fun, making the grey matter buzz more! My accommodation was exceptionally clean, with every convenience necessary. My room was spacious, warm and comfortable, the meals filling and food fresh and delicious! My apartment was a very short walk to a bus stop and a short ride to the metro station making access to the school feel effortless. I shared a flat with a retired lady, my newly adopted babushka, who was a delight to be with, she was very friendly and it was a joy trying to communicate with her. My Russian improved dramatically during my stay, reducing the need for universal hand signals and dictionary word searches. A must for would be linguists!
