Our school in Aix en Provence

Our French language school is in a beautiful building, located just a short walk from historic centre of Aix en Provence. The school has 15 classrooms, a multi-media room with Internet access, and a wonderful outside terrace where students can relax at break time, or after their course.

Courses

Our school offers a variety of courses, so you can learn French in Aix whatever your requirements. As well as general French language courses, our school in Aix en Provence offers a Business French course, and a work experience program. If you are keen to learn more about Provence, then why not try the ‘Discover Provence’ course, ‘French and Painting’ course, ‘Language and Wine’ course or ‘Language and Gastronomy’ course. These courses combine a French language course with fascinating visits, wine tastings, practical cookery classes and much more!

Accommodation

If you wish to learn as much French as possible during your course in Aix en Provence, our school advises you to stay with a French host family, as this will help you practise the French language skills that you learn on the course. If you do not want a family to cook meals for you, you can stay with a ‘French host’ on a self-catering basis. Alternatively, fully equipped studio apartments are available in the student residence, located within walking distance of our school.

Activities

Our school in Aix en Provence also organises a cultural program to help students practice the French language skills that they learn on their course. Activities include local walks, cookery classes, wine/cheese tasting, painting, horse-riding, Pétanque and excursions around Provence. This cultural program not only helps students explore the beauty of Provence and experience the way of life in this wonderful part of France, but also gives you the opportunity to use outside the classroom the French that you learn on your course.

My week in Aix...

As far as the course is concerned, the lecturers in Aix were very, very good and also very, very helpful. The lessons were of a very high standard and also very enjoyable! The school itself is very pleasant, not too big, in a good area and it's easy to get to and from everywhere. My classmates were really great and I already miss them... I want to thank the school for a wonderful week!

As regards my host family, all I can say is...what a lovely experience! I couldn't have hoped for better! The lady took me to the centre of town to help me book tickets for the rest of the trip, showed me everything, shops, places of interest and spent an afternoon with me in town!
