Program includes:
- 15 French lessons per week
- Half day and full day excursions. Regular destinations include the Pyrenees, beautiful Saint-Jean-de-Luz and even San Sebastián and Bilbao in Spain!
- One afternoon of sports every week and evening activities
- Eight optional surf lessons over the course of a fortnight, as well as all necessary equipment
- High quality residence accommodation or host family accommodation. The residence is just 300m from the beach and a short walk from the school, with a swimming pool, tennis courts and cafeteria on-site!
- Three meals per day in the residence, or two meals per day with a host family
- Local transportation card
Location
Just over 10 miles from the Spanish border sits the picturesque French town of Biarritz, famous for its beautiful beaches, world-class surf and elegant architecture. You’ll never be bored on this French course for teenagers in Biarritz! The town boasts excellent sporting amenities, including golf, mini-golf, tennis, beach volleyball, and go-karting (15 years plus) facilities. You can even go horse riding or try the locals’ favourite pastime - pétanque.
Our school in Biarritz is ideally located, only 300 metres away from the beach! All classrooms are large and well equipped, with free Internet access available to students.

CourseYour French course in Biarritz will consist of 15 French lessons per week, for a minimum of one week. Classes take place on weekday mornings, so you can spend summer afternoons exploring Biarritz and meeting teenagers from all over the world! The only language spoken in class and by the activities organizers will be French, so you’ll get plenty of French practice! Our school’s teachers are all experienced, friendly and patient.
Accommodation
Not only is our school’s residence conveniently located for your French lessons, it also has excellent facilities. When you’re not busy with surfing or other activities, you can enjoy a game of tennis or a swim in the on-site pool! Male and female young students are housed separately in the residence, in twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Residence accommodation includes three meals per day.
Stay with a host family in Biarritz to constantly improve your French and get to know the French culture! Your local host family will welcome you into their home, treat you as one of the family and provide two meals per day for you. Host families live a maximum of 40 minutes away from the school.
ActivitiesLearn how to surf on the magnificent beaches of Biarritz! Our school’s French + Surf program includes eight surfing lessons with qualified instructors, available for both beginners and more advanced surfers. On the days when you’re not surfing, you can take part in the school’s many other activities.
Our school organises one full day trip and two half day trips each fortnight, as well as sports and evening activities. Visit exciting cities like Bordeaux, San Sebastián and Bilbao, nearby Bayonne and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, or the incredible Pyrenees.
Sporting activities may include golf, rugby, accrobranche (a forest adventure course), as well as optional sports such as rafting, kayaking and horse riding. Each week, there will also be a welcome party, movie night, ten-pin bowling, and evening trips to Biarritz city centre and the beach at Anglet.

Our school will be glad to collect you from airports in Biarritz, Bordeaux, Bilbao or San Sebastián, or from the train station in Biarritz. This collection service is subject to an extra fee.
