Experience an exceptional blend of natural wonders, a rich historical tapestry, and a world-class cultural immersion when you choose to learn English with our specialised Club 50+ language programme in Edinburgh. This enchanting Scottish capital, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and historical significance, provides the perfect backdrop for your language learning journey.

The unique character of the city is determined by two distinct areas: the Old Town, dominated by a medieval fortress and the neoclassical New Town, where our school is located. The 18th century development of the impressive New Town in Edinburgh has made a long-lasting impact on urban planning throughout the rest of Europe! The combination of these two areas of Edinburgh, each filled with impressive and important buildings, creates a truly stunning urban landscape. Edinburgh is described by many as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Both the New and Old Town were together declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.

Discover the world-famous Edinburgh castle, situated on the top of a volcanic rock. Take in the outstanding, panoramic views from the summit of Arthur’s Seat (250m high), the tallest of Edinburgh’s seven hills and another impressive feature of the city’s skyline. Visit the historic Grassmarket, with its fine Victorian buildings, coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Stroll down Princes Street, through Princes Gardens and soak up the atmosphere of the Old Town with its cobbled streets and the famous Royal Mile, dating from medieval times.

Our English school in Edinburgh is situated in New Town, right next to the West End. Here you can improve and expand on your English language skills in a Georgian townhouse just moments away from Dean Village and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

There are 12 well-equipped, bright, modern classrooms at the school. Other facilities include a self-study area, a student lounge and garden, and a fully dedicated and welcoming academic and social team.
