Club 50+ course in Trieste
The Club 60+ course offered by our school consists of a dedicated two-week programme with start dates in Winter, Spring and Autumn. You will receive a total of 40 Italian lessons over two weeks, taking place between 09:00 and 13:00 Monday to Friday, with a 20-minute break each day included.
The Italian language lessons included in the Club 60+ package provide a learning experience similar to our Intensive course at our Trieste school. This course is designed with small group lessons that are split into two sessions, each with two lessons, helping you improve your speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills while enjoying the enchanting ambiance of our Trieste school.
In both sessions, students will be taught by different native Italian teachers who use a communicative approach. This means that students are encouraged to actively participate in their learning. See our Trieste Club 60+ activity section for a clear breakdown of the two-week programme.
Accommodation
Your accommodation is included in the Club 60+ programme in Trieste as standard. You have the choice between a host family or a shared apartment in a single or twin* room. The accommodation provided is of the highest quality. All apartments in Trieste are within walking distance of the school either in the centre of town or near the harbour.
Staying with an Italian host family or an individual Italian host offers a complete immersion in Italian culture. Each student is provided with their own private room furnished with a bed, table, chair, and wardrobe. Typically, the bathroom is shared with the host family. The price covers weekly cleaning, a change of linens, a basic Italian breakfast, and standard utility expenses (such as electricity, water, gas, and heating). These apartments are situated on the third floor of an 18th-century building in the city centre, offering easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes, and bars. The school is just a 10-minute walk away, and you'll find a small supermarket and the market close by. The shared apartment, completely renovated in early 2013, has four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and six bedrooms. Each room includes a 32" flat-screen TV with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. You can choose between single or double rooms, and you also have the option to book multiple bedrooms or the entire apartment if needed.
