The Italian Club 60+ course in Tropea offers students the ability to learn Italian alongside a broad range of social activities, excursions, and cultural field trips. Club 60+ Italian classes are held in our language school, a stunning 18th-century palazzo located right in the heart of the town, just a short stroll from the Spiaggia della Rotonda beach. Originally a monastery, the current modern facilities comprise 11 classrooms, a library, a music room equipped with a guitar and piano, a cinema room, reception area and complimentary wireless internet access. The entire building is fitted with both air conditioning and heating systems, ensuring comfort during its open season from March through the summer months until November.

Club 50+ course in Tropea
The Club 60+ course offered by our school consists of a dedicated two-week programme with start dates in Spring or Autumn. You will receive a total of 40 Italian lessons over two weeks, taking place between 09:00 and 13:00 Monday to Friday, with a 20-minute break each day included.
The Italian lesson part of the Club 60+ package offers a learning experience similar to our Tropea school's Intensive program. This course features small group lessons that are divided into two sessions, each consisting of two lessons.
In the first session, the primary focus will be on Italian grammar and the technical aspects of language learning. Topics covered include Italian grammar fundamentals such as noun declensions, verb conjugations, and sentence structure.
The second session is centred around conversation and everyday Italian. Here, students not only acquire knowledge of common Italian phrases and expressions but can also actively practice speaking Italian with both their fellow students and teachers. Here Italian pronunciation will also be a part of the curriculum.

Accommodation
Your accommodation is included in the Club 60+ programme in Tropea as standard. You have the choice between a shared apartment in a single or twin* room or a studio flat, also in a single or twin room. The accommodation provided is of the highest quality. All apartments in Tropea are within walking distance of the school either in the centre of town or near the harbour.
A typical shared apartment typically includes two to three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen for dining, and one or two shared bathrooms. Rooms in these apartments can be booked as singles or doubles for those who wish to share. If you're travelling with friends or family, entire apartments can also be reserved and we can arrange two to three rooms in the same apartment for you, upon request. Included in the services is cleaning and a change of towels and bed linen halfway through your stay, together with free WiFi.
Students who like a little more independence or privacy can book a studio flat. Typically, these apartments consist of a spacious room equipped with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Some studio flats in Tropea may include an additional separate living room or an eat-in kitchen.
These studio apartments in Tropea offer the option of booking them as single rooms or as doubles for those who wish to share.
Accommodation is available from the Sunday before the start of your course until the Saturday after your course finishes. Check-in and check-out times are usually very flexible.
*Twin rooms are only available to students travelling together.

How to get there
To get to Tropea, you can fly to Lamezia Terma Airport. The price you pay for the two-week course includes a return transfer from the airport to your accommodation. Contact us if you are not planning to arrive at Lamezia Terma and we will help you with your plans. In booking this programme you will also receive a schoolbag, pen, writing pad, teaching material, written and oral grading test, participation certificate and a useful city map with information about Tropea.
You should arrange to arrive in Tropea on the Sunday before the course starts and depart on the Saturday after the course finishes. We may be able to arrange extra nights on arrival and/or departure for you if required.
