Our Spanish language school in Barcelona is situated in the central Eixample district, famous for Ildefons Cerdà’s visionary grid layout with its wide avenues and characteristic octagonal street corners.
Located just steps from Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña, and the city’s primary cultural landmarks, the school operates out of a spacious, four-story building purposefully constructed and designed to support modern language instruction, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment in a prime central location.
Our Barcelona school features over 40 bright, air-conditioned classrooms equipped with modern audio-visual learning technology. Course participants have access to high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the facility, a well-stocked language library, a dedicated computer lab, quiet study areas, comfortable student lounges, and expansive outdoor terraces ideal for relaxing between classes. The facility is fully accessible, complete with a wheelchair-friendly elevator serving all levels.

The Club 50+ programme in Barcelona combines 20 interactive group Spanish lessons per week with an exclusive afternoon schedule of cultural activities and weekend excursions. Designed for learners aged 50 and above, this programme allows you to build Spanish language fluency while sharing new experiences with peers from around the world in a supportive and relaxed environment.
Your language lessons will focus on practical, communication-based Spanish for everyday situations. Taught by native Spanish teachers experienced in adult education, classes cover key speaking, listening, reading, and grammar skills. Before arrival, you will be asked to complete an online level test, followed by an oral placement test on your first day to ensure you are placed in a class matched to your exact ability. All levels from absolute beginners to advanced speakers are welcome.
Our Club 50+ programme in Barcelona runs for 1 or 2 weeks with specific start dates offered three times per year. Because start dates are staggered across our locations throughout the year, you can easily combine back-to-back 50+ programmes in different cities or add a standard adult course before or after your stay to extend your trip. Living with a local host in Barcelona gives you daily opportunities to practice your Spanish in a natural, welcoming home setting. You will have a private single* room, with the choice of bed & breakfast or half-board (breakfast and evening meal).
• Shared Apartment: Perfect for independent learners who prefer a self-catering setup. You will have a private single* bedroom in a shared apartment, with full access to a communal kitchen and living spaces shared with other international students from the school.
• Student Residence: A lively, social setting where you can live alongside other language learners from around the world. Residences offer private single* rooms with a choice of self-catering, half-board, or full-board meal plans, alongside communal lounges and quiet study areas.
*All three options can also be booked as shared rooms for two people travelling together.

Accommodation is usually booked from the Sunday before your course begins to the Saturday after your course finishes, though extra nights can often be arranged if required.

Most international visitors arrive via Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport (BCN), located approximately 11.2 km from our school and the city center.
Getting to your accommodation:
• Airport Transfer Service: Private collection services can be arranged upon request. A driver will meet you at arrivals and drop you directly at your accommodation.
• Public Transport & Taxi: The Aerobús service connects airport terminals directly to Plaza Cataluña in the center. Taxis and metro lines (L9 Sud connecting to central lines) are readily available at all airport terminals.
• Local Transit: Our school is situated close to the Rocafort metro station (240 m) and local bus routes for simple city navigation.
