Our Spanish language school in Madrid is located in the lively Argüelles district, just a short stroll from Plaza de España. The school operates out of a modern, stylish two-story building featuring bright, light-filled classrooms and an international learning environment right in the heart of the capital.
The school offers 38 air-conditioned classrooms equipped with modern audiovisual technology. Course participants have access to high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building, a library with multimedia learning materials, a student computer lab, big lounge and study areas, and a large student common room with vending machines. A spacious central patio provides a tranquil outdoor setting for students to relax and socialise between lessons.

The Spanish Club 50+ course in Madrid combines 20 interactive group Spanish lessons per week with an exclusive afternoon schedule of cultural activities and weekend excursions. Designed specifically for learners aged 50 and above, this programme allows you to build Spanish language fluency at a comfortable pace while sharing new experiences with peers from around the world.
Your language lessons focus on practical, communication-based Spanish for real-life situations. Taught by native Spanish teachers experienced in adult education, classes cover essential speaking, listening, reading, and grammar skills. Prior to arrival, all students (except absolute beginners) complete an online level test so we can place you in a class precisely matched to your ability, from A1 through to advanced C2 speakers.
Our Club 50+ programme in Madrid runs for 1 or 2 weeks with specific start dates offered three times per year. Because start dates are staggered across our locations throughout the year, you can easily combine back-to-back 50+ programmes in different cities or add a standard adult course before or after your stay to extend your trip. • Host Family (Homestay): Ideal for total language and cultural immersion. Living with a local host in Madrid gives you daily opportunities to practice your Spanish in a natural, welcoming home setting. You will have a private single* room, with the choice of bed & breakfast or half-board (breakfast and evening meal).
• Shared Apartment: Perfect for independent learners who prefer a self-catering setup. You will have a private single* bedroom in a shared apartment, with full access to a communal kitchen and living spaces shared with other international students from the school.
• Student Residence: A lively, social setting where you can live alongside other language learners from around the world. Residences offer private single* rooms with a choice of self-catering, half-board, or full-board meal plans, alongside communal lounges and quiet study areas.
*All three options can also be booked as shared rooms for two people travelling together.

Accommodation is usually booked from the Sunday before your course begins to the Saturday after your course finishes, though extra nights can often be arranged if required.

How to travel to Madrid for your Club 50+ programme
Most international visitors arrive via Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD), located just 13.6 km from the school. There are direct metro, train, and bus services from Airport Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4 to central Madrid, as well as official taxis.
If travelling by train from other Spanish or European cities, Madrid’s main stations (such as Atocha Station, 1.4 km away) offer rapid metro connections directly into the city centre. Private airport, train, or bus station pick-up and drop-off transfer services can also be booked in advance for a direct journey to your accommodation.
Plan to arrive on the Sunday before your course start date and depart on the Saturday following your final class and contact us first if you need an extra night on arrival or departure.
