Italian and Home Cooking, Rome
Spend just a short while in Italy and you’ll realise that there is no such thing as one Italian cuisine. Rather, there are many famous Italian cuisines, from the rich risotto and polenta dishes of the northern regions, to the pizzas and pastas of the south.
Our Italian and Home Cooking course in Rome, the ‘eternal city’ and enchanting capital of Italy, gives you the opportunity to enter an Italian home and take part in the preparation of tasty, typically Italian dishes. Afterwards you will get to eat what you have prepared whilst washing it down with a great glass of wine. The cookery programme is an addition to your Italian language lessons and unites culture, gastronomy and language practice in to one incredibly tasty package!
Your cookery lessons take place twice per week in the evenings, from 5pm-8pm. You may discover dishes from the northern regions of Italy, including a Milanese Risotto and the delicious dessert Panna cotta. Next, you’ll move on to the dishes of central Italy, including the famous dessert Tiramisu. Last, but not least are the dishes of the south, including delicious Sicilian cannelloni! Please note dishes may vary according to the season.
All that is required for this course is a love of food, and an elementary (A1+) or above level of Italian! Please note that this course is to be taken in conjunction with an Italian language course at our school.
