In the opposite direction, a mere 10-minute walk from the school, lies the Santa Monica History Museum. Available courses
Our school’s most popular courses are the Intensive and Super Intensive programmes, which consist of 20, 24 or 30 total immersion English lessons per week. Lessons can be held in the morning or afternoon, but they are always grouped together to ensure you can spend plenty of time enjoying the Californian sunshine and getting to know Santa Monica and the surrounding area.
The core programme is the Intensive course of 20 lessons per week, which will focus on all aspects of language learning, such as speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. Additional lessons (four, six or ten per week) are held in the form of special focus sessions, which can include topics such as speaking with confidence, grammar for real communication, real life listening, basic reading and writing, writing with confidence, English for leadership and exam skills. The exact options available will be confirmed to you on arrival.
Students also have the option to learn English on a one-to-one basis with Private Lessons. As you’ll be the only student, classes will be tailored to suit your requirements and your teacher can devote all of their time to improving your language skills. You’ll quickly overcome any problems you may have with the language and learn more English than you ever thought possible!

Live with a local, English-speaking host family and your language skills will soon improve. According to your preference, your hosts will provide you with one or two meals per day, as well as all the English practise you could wish for.
Our school only works with the most friendly, hospitable people, so you’re guaranteed a warm welcome to America! Due to the size of Los Angeles County, host families can be located about 30 – 60 minutes by public transport from the school.
