You can learn French in Montreal on one of our total immersion courses with 18 or 24 lessons per week. These classes cover all main areas of language learning, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong focus on communication. You can study for as little as one week, or for as long as a whole year. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes, placed in classes with students of a similar level. The average class size is 14, with a maximum of 16 students.
For those who want to progress faster, our Super Intensive courses offer 30 lessons per week, giving you more opportunities to practise your French and improve rapidly. Before you start you can take the school’s online placement test to ensure you are in the correct class for your French level.
If you prefer a more personalised approach, our Private Lessons provide one-to-one tuition with a French teacher. Each lesson can be customised to focus on your specific goals. You can concentrate on areas you want to improve, such as speaking fluency, grammar, vocabulary, or writing. Private lessons ensure rapid progress tailored to your needs and allow you to work at your own pace.

Your bedroom comes with a bed, desk, and storage, with most students sharing a bathroom with the host (private bathrooms may be available on request). Homestays supply bed linens and towels (which are changed regularly) and students also have access to laundry facilities.
Accommodation can be arranged on a bed and breakfast, half-board (breakfast and dinner), or full-board basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Bed and breakfast accommodation should only really be considered if you are staying for a short period as kitchen access is not included. For the best value for money, and to maximise conversation opportunities with the host, opt for half-board or full-board accommodation.
Homestays are located in a variety of neighbourhoods, from apartments to townhouses and single-family homes, all close to public transport. Our Montreal hosts help new students navigate their commute, which is typically 45-60 minutes to the school.

You will have direct access to Montreal’s underground network, as well as many cafés, boutiques, restaurants, and bars nearby too. Many tourist/cultural attractions are within easy reach - Lachine Canal, with its many walking and bike trails provides the perfect space for fresh air and exercise, and the Old Port, a unique entertainment complex, is just four minutes away!This accommodation is designed with language students in mind. You will have your own en-suite bedroom, and access to free Wi-Fi and amazing communal spaces including lounges, communal kitchens, study spaces, fitness centre and studio, indoor heated swimming pool, theatre room and games room. There is an on-site restaurant for times when you don’t feel like cooking, and laundry facilities for when you need to take care of necessary chores. Please note that towels and bed linen are not provided, therefore you will either need to pak your own or purchase a linen pack through us.
