Montreal is a vibrant, bilingual city, and homestays give you daily opportunities to practise French in real-life situations. Our carefully selected families offer a warm, welcoming environment and encourage students to immerse themselves in Quebec culture. Host family accommodation in Montreal is available year-round, with Saturday arrivals and departures.

Your bedroom comes with a bed, desk, and storage, with most students sharing a bathroom with the host (private bathrooms may be available on request). Homestays supply bed linens and towels (which are changed regularly) and students also have access to laundry facilities.

Accommodation can be arranged on a bed and breakfast, half-board (breakfast and dinner), or full-board basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Bed and breakfast accommodation should only really be considered if you are staying for a short period as kitchen access is not included. For the best value for money, and to maximise conversation opportunities with the host, opt for half-board or full-board accommodation.
Homestays are located in a variety of neighbourhoods, from apartments to townhouses and single-family homes, all close to public transport. Our Montreal hosts help new students navigate their commute, which is typically 45-60 minutes to the school.
