The sparkling waters of Lake Constance are perfect for waterskiing, sailing and various other watersports. Alternatively, you could simply admire the breathtaking views across the lake to Switzerland! A few miles outside of Radolfzell lies the unspoilt Black Forest, with the picturesque city of Freiburg on its western edge. Radolfzell is in the heart of Europe, with Zürich and Stuttgart also within easy reach.

The Intensive course offers tuition in same-level groups with 24 lessons a week to help you progress your German written and oral skills.

Available accommodation
If you want to learn as much German as possible and really get to know to the local culture, stay with one of our school’s friendly host families! Choose a bed & breakfast, two meals per day, or room only arrangement. Living in a German-speaking environment, your language skills will soon improve.
Our school also organises accommodation in shared student apartments, giving you the chance to meet more of your fellow students.
Activities
To help you make the most of your time in Germany, our school offers a varied program of extracurricular activities. Typical activities include boat trips, evening meals with classmates, movie nights, quizzes, sports and guided tours, to name but a few! Half day and full day excursions are also on the agenda, taking in places such as the magnificent Black Forest; the stunning city of Freiburg; and the nearby university town of Konstanz.
How to get there
Our school offers a collection service from three different airports: Zürich, Stuttgart and Friedrichshafen. Please note, however, that this service carries an extra cost.

The teachers at Radolfzell have a lot of energy, patience and passion for German teaching. Thanks to them for that.
The Guest family were very nice and helpful. My accommodation was self-contained so I didn't have much interaction with them. I expected the chance to practice my German language with them as I had in my previous experience in Colonge through Apple Language. The did invite me to join them for a coffee on the last day to their living space, which was very nice and Herr Bottling did check in with me every few days that everything was ok. Cleanliness was only ok!

A really memorable course. The German was, as expected, quite advanced and would have been improved somewhat had the lecturer spoken a little more slowly. He was a first class lecturer though.
I stayed with the Weggler Family in Radolfzell. I couldn't have been placed with a nicer family. They were excellent, the room was first class and Irmi and Wolfgang helped me quite a lot with my German. They went very much out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay.
