French and Skiing in Montreal

Situated just one hour from the magnificent Laurentin mountains, our school in Montreal provides the perfect base for you to learn French during the week and hit the slopes at the weekend!
Although our school in Montreal doesn’t offer a specific skiing course, they organise regular weekend excursions to the nearby slopes, where you can ski amongst nature, with breath-taking views of sloping hills and glistening lakes. Not only is Montreal a great destination for skiing, but also practicing other snow-sports, including snowboarding, dogsledding and snowmobiling.

Montreal is an ideal location if you wish to arrange cross-country or Alpine skiing trips alongside your French lessons, or even simply explore Canada’s unspoilt natural beauty.
Ski season in Montreal runs from the end of November to the beginning of March and during this time, not only can you ski to your heart’s content but also take part in many other winter activities, including ice-skating, snow-shoeing, ice-hockey and tobogganing.
Accommodation
- French host families with half-board included (breakfast and evening meal)
- Student Residence (single room, with shared bathroom, kitchen and living room facilities). The residence also includes Wi-Fi, fitness centre, laundry facilities, games room and 24-hour reception
Activities
Our school in Montreal organise optional activities which can be booked upon your arrival at the school. Some activities are free of charge and others incur a small fee, which you can pay at the reception desk. Activities may include:

How to get there
Fly to Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Montreal, also known as 'Montreal Trudeau'. From there you can take a bus to the centre of Montreal, or if you prefer we can arrange a transfer on arrival to your accommodation at an additional cost.
