Spanish and Surfing in Lima
Warm weather all year round and wavy Pacific seas make Lima the ideal place in which to combine your language-learning with water sports. And our specialised Spanish and Surfing course allows you to do just that, giving you the opportunity to take private surfing lessons alongside your Spanish studies! Surf lessons are held at Playa Barranquito, an exposed reef and a social hub for water sports enthusiasts, offering fantastic surfing conditions for 12 months a year!

Spanish and Surfing
Our Spanish and Surfing course includes 20 intensive Spanish lessons that take place on a Monday to Friday basis, in groups of no more than 7 students of the same level.
As well as the Spanish classes, you will have 2 additional private surf lessons per week. Each surf lesson will last for a duration of 2 and a half hours, and will be adapted to suit your level.
Instruction is given by experienced surf teachers who work for our school’s partner surf academy and will ensure that your lessons are as enjoyable as they are informative!
Course duration: 1-4 weeks
Level: Suitable for students of all levels.
Accommodation
- Get an authentic experience of Peruvian culture and stay with a Spanish-speaking host family. You will enjoy 2 meals with your host each day, where you can put your language skills into practice within a real-life context.
- For more independence, choose to stay in a shared apartment, where you will live with other students, locals or internationals!
Activities
On top of your Spanish lessons, our school in Lima also organise a weekly activity programme, to help you get the most out of your time in Peru and socialise with other students and locals. Activities tend to vary from week to week, but typically include city tours, cookery lessons, museum visits, salsa classes, football, visits to local markets, theatre trips, trekking, rafting, and much more.

Private transfers upon arrival and/or departure from/to Lima airport can be arranged upon request. Please note that the transfer service is not included in the price.
