Bordered by the warm Mediterranean Sea, it is no surprise that Sicily is a popular destination for diving enthusiasts. And to make things even better, our school in Taormina offers a special Italian and Diving course, giving you the opportunity to learn Italian in the mornings and spend your afternoons exploring the underwater world of Sicily. Our Italian and Diving course gives you two entire afternoons spent submerged in the Mediterranean Sea, where you will discover all manner of underwater treasures, from beautiful corals to ancient shipwrecks. The charming medieval town of Taormina, where our school is located, overlooks the sparkling turquoise bay of Naxos, and is an excellent base for those wishing to improve their Italian skills and discover the underwater delights of the Mediterranean Sea.

Italian and Diving
Our Italian and Diving course in Taormina allows experienced divers to explore the depths of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, whilst learning Italian at the same time! The course includes 20 Intensive Italian lessons each week, which take place in groups of no more than 10 students of the same level.
Diving practice takes place on two afternoons, with two dives each afternoon. All necessary equipment is included in the price.
Course Duration: 1-2 weeks
Level: The Italian and Diving course requires previous diving experience and some knowledge of the Italian language.
Accommodation
- Stay with local host families on a bed and breakfast, half-board or full-board basis.
- Live with other students from the school in a shared apartment.
- Opt for a private apartment, for more independence during your stay.
Activities
Embrace Sicilian culture with the help of our school’s social and cultural programme. Each week, you can participate in a wide variety of activities, such as lectures, walking tours, Italian films, game nights, dinners, theatre performances, excursions to nearby points of interest, and many more!
