Italian and Diving in Tropea

If you’re looking for a unique beach location in one of Italy’s most striking regions, then learn Italian in Tropea, a medieval town on the south west coast of Italy! According to legend, Tropea was made a port by Hercules and has been protected by the Virgin Mary since the 1300s. Situated on the aptly named Coast of Gods, our students cannot help but fall in love with the town’s winding country roads, sandy bays, and breath-taking views.

On an Italian course in Tropea you’ll be ideally situated for enjoying all that Mediterranean life has to offer, from swimming in the sea to exploring the peaceful bays in and around the town. Unaffected by mass tourism, Tropea’s white sandy beaches and immaculate waters are perfect for sailing, surfing, or simply relaxing.

Italian and Diving

Our Italian and Diving course consists of 20 Intensive Italian lessons, which take place in the mornings. Diving lessons take place in the afternoon.

Once these have been completed and students have passed their final 1-hour exam, they receive 8 practical lessons, consisting of 4 lessons in confined waters and 4 open-water lessons, up to a maximum depth of 20 metres. At the end of this course, successful students are given an Open-Water Diving certificate.
