Spanish and Surfing in Vejer de la Frontera

Then come and join us in Vejer de la Frontera on a combined Spanish and Surfing course!
The Costa de la Luz is home to some of the best surf spots on the Atlantic Coast, including El Palmar, situated just 8km from Vejer itself. Whether you are a total beginner or an expert in surfing, El Palmar’s many beaches offer exquisite waters with surf conditions suitable for all levels!

Spanish and Surfing
If you take the Spanish and Surfing course at our school in Vejer de la Frontera, you will receive 20 Intensive Spanish lessons each week, which take place in the mornings from Monday to Friday.
Morning Spanish lessons are followed by afternoon surf lessons 3 times a week. Surf lessons take place in El Palmar, in groups of around 10 students. Full instruction is given by fully-qualified professionals from our school’s partner surf school, who will help to make your lessons as fun and exciting as possible!
The price includes all necessary equipment and transportation to and from the beach.
Course duration: 1-4 weeks
Level: Both Spanish and surf lessons are suitable for students of all levels.
Accommodation
- For complete immersion into the Spanish language and culture, you can choose to stay with a Spanish-speaking host family on a half-board or full-board basis
- Alternatively, choose a shared apartment and stay with 3-6 other international students. This type of accommodation includes private bedrooms with shared living facilities
- For a more independent experience, we can arrange accommodation in a private apartment for you. This option includes a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as access to a terrace or patio
Activities
To help you experience life in a typical Andalusian village, our school in Vejer organises a weekly programme of activities, which will also allow you to socialise with your classmates and make friends from all over the world. Some examples of activities that may be on offer during your time in Vejer are: Spanish tapas tours, cookery classes, dance lessons, city tours, visits to nearby cities and towns (Cadiz, Bolonia, Tarifa, etc), Spanish film nights, bicycle tours and much more!
How to get there
The nearest Airport de Vejer is Jerez, although many of our students also fly into Seville, Malaga, or even Gibraltar. Optional airport transfers from each of these locations can be arranged upon request, at an additional cost. Please contact us for more information about our transfer service.
