Chinese course for Young Students, Beijing

Beijing is also a very forward-looking city, and successfully hosted one of the most exciting Olympic Games in recent memory, so it’s the ideal location for a Chinese course for Young Students! The school has bright classrooms with good facilities, computers with Internet access, a relaxation area and a courtyard garden.

Courses in Beijing
You’ll have Chinese lessons in the morning, with each lesson lasting 50 minutes. All aspects of the language are covered, and the lessons are taught in an interactive way, which holds the students’ attention and makes learning fun! All of our teachers are university-educated and have years of experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Accommodation
On our Full Camp Chinese course for Young Students you’ll live at our residential complex, 30 minutes away from our school. Apartments in the complex have kitchens, TVs, washing machines and air-conditioning. You will either have a room to yourself, or share a room with another student, who will be the same gender and around the same age. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks during the day are included with the course.
Supervision
Full Camp students will have 24-hour supervision, with carefully selected monitors staying in the apartment building in the evenings and at weekends. If you’re a little older, you will have a little more freedom, and won’t have a monitor living with you.
Activities
To allow you to experience Chinese culture and make friends more easily, our school runs a packed activities program. Sporting activities on offer include football, swimming, ping-pong and badminton. Discover Chinese calligraphy, Martial Arts, Chinese cookery, acrobatics and traditional Chinese paper-cutting. Each week you will also visit one of China’s other fascinating cities or towns! Our excursion to the Great Wall of China is particularly popular.
Suitability
This a great opportunity for people aged between seven and 16 to learn Chinese quickly, get a taste of Chinese culture and have a great time! Please note students aged 7-11 yrs must be accompanied by their parents and should arrange their own accommodation.
How to get there
Our school can collect you from Shanghai airport or train station, and take you to the school to get your welcome pack and room keys.
